FIL Luge World Cup & World Championships
The FIL Luge World Championship and nine races of the FIL Luge World Cup held from November to February during non-Winter Olympic years demonstrate the sheer courage and skill of athletes on sledges, shooting downhill to endure speeds of up to 150 km/h.
Courage on the ice
Particularly popular in the alpine regions, luge holds high appeal to sponsors keen to build on exposure in these key markets. The sponsor packages provide exceptional visibility and exclusivity through a strong and clear marketing platform that provides for a maximum of four brand or product partners across all events.
Excellent coverage in camera view at the start, finish and along the track, together with logo integration on interview backdrops, print materials and internet presence guarantees visibility together with onsite product placement opportunities, as well as inflatables and promotional stands. Access to VIP and hospitality areas (including taxi bob rides and ice rafting) complete the offer.
Germany's ARD/ZDF covers the FIL events comprehensively in Germany while Eurosport provides television coverage on a pan-European level. Cumulative audience figures per season on TV reach over 400 million and in Germany alone over 300 million from approximately 100 hours of broadcasting.
