German National Ice Hockey Team
The German national ice hockey team ranks among the world’s top nations, entertaining loyal fans with 12-15 games (home and away) between November and April/May each year. Kicking off the season is the traditional “Deutschland Cup” played in Munich at the second weekend of November. Participants are the national teams of Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia and either the USA or Canada.
Showcasing one of Germany’s traditional winter sports, the German national ice hockey team provides sponsors six months of exposure around the games, onsite, online and on television. Broad advertising is available on players’ clothing, under the ice, as well as logo inclusion in print and online materials. Take advantage of VIP tickets and unique promotional opportunities with the coach and team. In 2017, Germany will be co-hosting with France the IIHF World Championship.
